I owned Island Thunder and thought that it was a pretty good game with the worst graphics I had ever seen on Xbox. Now, after looking at screens it looks as if the second one won't be having that problem. These are some of the coolest war shots that I have seen in a long time. Anyone know about any cool features and what not?

Its a shame this game is lost in the Halo 2 hype. I really don't know alot about it, but multiplayer will have up to 16 players. The only thing that may kill this game online is the spawn killers that lurk in the Tom Clancy games.
As for single player, looks to be a blast. If Halo 2 is a letdown, this will become THE game.

Actually, XBOX's answer to SOCOM 2 will not be coming out until March or April of 2005. A game called 25 to Life will have the same engine with a Counterstrike type multiplayer to it.

I thought Island Thunder's graphics were just fine. The game itself is excellent, and I probably played more 2 player co-op than anything else.
Helps that it's one of the most supported Live games available (13 downloads as of this posting).

25 to Life is coming to PS2 as well and is in 3rd person.

I am fired up for this game, more so than Halo 2. I really like both Ghost Recon Games.

I will probally wait on GR2 (though originally I believed I would buy it right off the bat) due to Halo 2 and my addiction to FFXI. It will be just to hard to support all my addictions! Still, once the price drops and my inclination towards Halo 2 dies down I will pick it up.
