Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all four (DFW, LA, SJ, and WA) ads.

great price on TMNT 2. I think I will still wait on it. I'm sure with all the other great games, this one will drop fast. That game is worth getting just for the unlockable arcade original.

Nice price on TMNT 2 and Kirby. Also good price on Spongebob but I just bought that lastnight at CC for 34.99. I hope the deals are as good in SJ.

Most of those prices also are the same in Sacramento as well, if anyone cares. I think TMNT was 34.99 here though

Doesn't seem like there is anything worth busting the door down for this week.

TMNT is $20 at CC-regular price.

Fry's has TMNT 2 on sale, not TMNT. CC's regular price is $40.00.

Monday update:

$12.99 (SJ-PC): Age of Mythology

$41.99: Star Wars Trilogy: WS or FS (SJ may only be FS)

Note: For those interested in GTA: San Andreas, it is very odd for Fry's not to have listed the sale price yet. So, IMHO, the game will likely be $49.99 tomorrow at launch. The price will probably drop either on Weds. or Fri. if you are willing to wait.

Yeah, I'm waiting with bated breath to find out what possible sale price Fry's is going to put on San Andreas, hopefully in Wednesday's papers. If it's good enough, I won't have to exchange one of my games from the TRU B2G1 sale.

could you do a favor though: put the games first in these listings, and the dvds and music last.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how bad the reviews are. I expected mediocrity but nothing worse. I played some of it at E3 and it just seemed like more of the same, with a four player feature added. If anything, you'd think that that one feature would make it an improvement but some reviews are even calling TMNT2 worse than the first.

yup, word on the TMNT2:BN poor reviews. game is crap-o-la. straight to the clearance bins please.

have you seen the screen shots? why do the turtles have the same colored elbow and knee pads? it's difficult to tell them apart during action sequences. looks like the only way to tell them apart is with the slight body color variation, headband/mask, and choice of weapon.

TMNT2:BN = TMNT 1.5, i am very disappointed, this game WAS on my want-list; scratch that off.

I don't think there's any way they sell it lower than $35. But I'll be happy to be wrong. :P
