Wind Waker: I have 3000 rupees.

I have 3000+ rupees and nothing to spend them on. Maybe there is a money sink later in the game? I am just now entering the "sages temples" (after fire/ice island).

I haven't gone out of my way to get rupees. I just find them. I have to laugh when I find a silver rupee (worth 200) and it tells me to jump for joy. Pardon me if I don't cream my jeans when I find pocket change.

You'll need 'em all, and possibly more (it's been a while since I played).

The Triforce quest involves finding maps, then paying huge sums of rupees to Tingle to translate them before you can go and fish the pieces out of the ocean.

A big black mark on an otherwise great game imo.

I just wanted to post that I have since completed the game, and money was never a problem. I had plenty when it came time to pay the piper.
