Omfg they suck ass. A member on ebay purchases an item from me with buy it now. TWICE because he's an idiot so I let him go and he only needed to pay for one of them. Then he sends out a PERSONAL CHECK which I do NOT accept. And after that a few days later he leaves a negative stating that 10$ for a demo disc is obsurd.. ALTHOUGH HE PURCHASED IT and it was CLEARLY STATED in the title. and that he purchased it elsewhere for a better price.
Isnt there a reason you shop before you buy? So this ass gave me a neg, guess what? He gets two for being a shit head and probably a bounced check coming my way also.

Whenever someone would send me a personal check, I would see if it was a big bank, one that I can go to locally. If so, just go and cash it there. No worries about it bouncing.

well $10 seems a bit high, could you give us an auction link? I'm having a difficult time understanding what you sold him.
But regardless it sucks that his account is new or you could mess with him a bit.
On that note why doesn't ebay allow you to keep people with less than a few feedback out of your auctions,? They let me keep Canadians out, why cant' I kick out the noobs to.

oh if he had more feedback you could report him as a nonpaying bidder since you don't accept checks and that would scare some people out of negative feedback.

If they let everyone keep out new members, then it would be nearly impossible for legitimate new members to join the site, which wouldn't be fair. I know some stupid ass people mess it up for everyone but what can you do?

actually most big auctions would still be open and I'm only suggesting for the first trade or 2, or require stricker guidelines be followed by first time buyers.

I agree with that all the way, they should have a step by step process that they MUST follow for the first few, and can't leave negative feedback until they have 10 feedback or something.

I agree also, and I think no negative feedback without 10 feedback is an awesome idea.

well the feedback idea of no negative for people under 10 could be a bad idea, but perhaps if they could only leave feedback after it was approved by someone, then I'd before it.

I've been an ebay member for almost 7 years, my ebay account and paypal account are both triple-confirmed, and I have spent over $600 on ebay, and have never recieved bad feedback. But I only have a feedback of 9 because I've only bought 9 really expensive things.
Should you keep me out too? Think before you post.

Dude I totally feel you. I had this one dickhead with no feedbacks win an auction via BIN. I accept M.O. and PayPal and it says that on the payments accepted part of the page. This dude has 0 feedbacks and he wins the auction and wants to pay with a personal check. I will usually say ok if it's something that's not too expensive but he says he'll be able to pay for it in 2 weeks. I said no and gave him a negative feedback asap. After like 2 months he finally gives me a neg in return but his fb is now at neg 2. I hate it when people that don't have a concept of how eBay works and they go around fucking up everything for the good people.

What I hate the most is people that don't check their E-mail.
