Yes it does seem to be a return, BUT I was at that Target this past saturday and the same one with the broken seal scanned at $104.

I am about to headout to another Target that had one left(atleast the clerk said on the phone)and I will report my findings.

Been to a jillion Chicagoland Target and NONE of the stores I've been to...5 so far have it. I did find the screen for 40 bucks at CC...so I picked it up. That's a good price (it's no 37 for the combo...but Ialready have the combo), and I need a decent screen for some of my friends LAN halo parties.

Ok just retured after going way the hell on the north side of Okc.

The guy said he sold the combo minutes before I got there for the $37.48.

So since I was this far north I went ahead and went a few more miles out of the way to go to the Edmond Target and SCORE!!! nabbed the last one for $37.48 price along with Maximo $4.98. This combo was new and still had the seal intact.

Sorry guys/gals before you ask the second combo I bought is already spoken for(it will make a great B-Day gift).


Side note: On the PSOne car adapter it is a YMMV thing as 3 of the 6 Targets I hit had it clearenced at $9.98, while the other 3 had it at a $19.99 price cut.

I was able to find one for $37.48 also. The guy in electronics said it had just been sitting on the shelf for a long time, and he was surprised it hadn't sold yet. I find it funny that they had the system alone for $49.99, but the actual bundle was cheaper.

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I scored one! I went back to the place where I first saw it. I didn't have my hopes up because when I had gone about 2 weeks ago the last one was gone. That is when it was scanning around $105. Anyway I walked in there today saw one sitting on the shelf all alone. Gave it a scan $37.48! Made it worth going to 4 Targets in search of it. THANKS! Score! I picked up the last one on the west side area of Cincinnati. Took me four stores but found it for $37.48 yesterday. They also had one of the car adaptors for $9.99 and the CompUSA next to Tri County Mall landed me two of the Hip Gear battery packs for $3.99 each. (BTW there are two of the battery packs left there if someone is in the area.) A big thanks to JibbaJabba and Miktrebla for the heads up. Easily one of the best deals I have gotten in a while!

It really depends on the worker. Official policy is no price adjustments on clearance items.

If your Target still has them, buy another one and return that one with the $104 receipt

none. its not a sale price, its the base price. i only got it as proof to pm at other stores. it says target sells it for 37, so im hoping i can get bb to price match for 110% the difference, effectively making the combo only 25 bucks. :D heres to hoping.

One of the cool thigs about the combo is that the screen has a a/v in on the back through mini pin.

So that means if you have a 50 dollar power converter and a ps2 and 3 female to female rca connectors and the rca to mini pin cable (5 bucks form RS) you can be playing ps2 xbox or gamecube on that little screen. As well as dvd's.

Now thats pretty cool.

What's really weird is that the same toy, albiet repainted, is still being sold for 50 at Target, TRU, etc.

Best Buy is not the only store that won't price match internet stores. I used to work in customer service at a Circuit City, they do the same thing. If you want the item from the store, go online and order it, and select the option to pick it up from in store. Any other way, you can't get the deal.

A good way to duplicate a reciept is to send it too your self as a fax if you have one of the older thermal printing faxes that dont use ink. Man this is such a great deal, hook me up if this works out. The print out looks just like a reciept and its printed out using the same method.

well went to a shiiteload of stores and couldnt get it. the retard BB employee i dealt wit seemed to think that all targets in existence shared the same stock, pretty much by using a space-time differential. since the target right there didnt have ti, every other target in existence obviously wouldnt either. i did get the 5 dollar battery pact at compusa, but w/o the bundle, its a moot point.

I've been searching SoCal high and low for that PSOne Combo. From the depths of San Diego to as high as Santa Barbara. While I didn't find one at Target, I did find one at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. I picked it up for $50 + tax. It was 50% off from it's original price of $149.99 + I had a coupon of $25 off $100. It's not as good as the Target deal, but it's better than nothing. Can anyone tell me where I can find the carrying case for the PSOne. Thanks!

It was a target in Antioch, CA I got the last one. The Seal was broken but all the contents looked like they had never been messed with and it works great.

I sent my receipt to loserboy and have no clue which Target store had those three I mentioned. Would love to find out if the receipt works for anyone.

My local Sears has 3 of the combos and a few screens. The screens were marked $129. I had to laugh.

I saw some combos at Toys R Us for 150, the Screens for 130, and the Console itself for 50 still. Well not the items themselves they just had the tags to get them and still had quite a few.

Got your receipt and have yet to try it for reason previously mentioned. Nowhere on receipt does it have ISBN/UPC code and title of item purchased is Sony Acc...which could be any Sony Accessory...am planning on trying it regardless, just haven't had decent opportunity.

Did have them scan screen, combo and PSOne at 2 different Toys 'R Us (one in Indiana, another in Mansfield, Ohio) stores...still full price.
