I used the Xbox Music Mixer myself. That way I don't have to waste CDs.

Just one. Frank Zappa's Sheik Yerbouti. That was on the day I brought it home on launch and gave it a test. I've had no interest in using the Xbox as a music server and I don't think I own a single game that supports custom soundtracks.

What I usually do is download a compliation of all the songs I like from an artist and then make my own "greatest hits" albums. After burning them to CD I'll transfer them over to my Xbox. So far I've got Best of Korn, Best of Guns N Roses, Best of Bush, Best of Staind, Best of Stone Temple Pilots, Best of Rap (I don't like much rap), and Best of Misc (which includes the Team America soundtrack).
