wow thats a hard question.. theres so many great games.. i would have to say either halo, or shenmue II IMO.. shenmue II is often over looked, but will one day be a classic..

Star Wars KOTOR is my favorite, Halo 2 or KOTOR 2 may take its place though.

KOTOR easy for me, I loved Halo as much as the next guy but Kotor had me fighting the urge to replay it 5 minutes after I beat it.

Mechassault, soon to be Mechassault 2 most likely. Single player was fun once around launch day but its not great, its my favorite XBL game though.
Honorable mention goes to Panzer Dragoon Orta, and Morrowind. God knows how many hours I poured into that game.

Ninja gaidens only fun if your are good at it, otherwise it is the most frustrating game on the xbox

Mechassault / PGR2 by far the most played of my xbox titles. Helps that almost all my live friends have both titles.

Halo is awesome. But recently I've been playing the Sims Bustin Out and GTA Double PAck both of which are really good.

Where's the love for Crimson Skies? It's an excellent game, and my favorite XBL game to date. That may change once DOA Ultimate is released though.
