i picked this up yesterday for 15 bucks at bestbuy after GGC and i must say, i'm happy with what i got.
I bought myself a brand new, hilarious, entertaining, *cough*sexy*cough*, golf game. PLUS it has xbox live multi-player. Did anyone else pick this little thing up or am i alone in the world? i would love some new opponents on live!

I got it saturday, fun game but i suck at it. Never played the first one though.
Their isn't alot of people online but my buddy has it so at least we can play.
Another fun looking value title comes out this week, IF you like puzzle games AND it's on Live-> Ultra Bust a Move (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/242407.asp)

I ordered OG2 from GameStop...should be here soon.
I read it was hard....how hard is it compared to Links 2004?

Between Outlaw Golf, Links 2004, Hot Shots 4? and Tiger Woods 2003.. I think I'm more than statisfied with my golf selection... otherwise I'd probably pick this up.
And to doubledown, if it plays like the original it is nowhere near as deep or involved as Links/Tiger Woods. Although I have yet to find any of those games "hard".

well, I don't expect it to be DEEP. I mean it's OUTLAW GOLF. Links was good in upgrading and building your golfer.
I was just curious how the swing mechanism works in OG2. No big deal...should be here sometime this week.

For only 15 I should go ahead and give this a try. Should be fun multiplayer if I can convince some friends to pick it up. Didn't play much of the first one but I heard it wasn't all that bad.

I picked up a copy at BB using GGC a couple days ago. The game is pretty good (esp for that price), but there is very little Live community. So if you are looking for online golf, you might want to pay more and get the bigger community (I am guessing) of Tiger Woods.
But of course, then you miss out on the thongs.

CAn you set up any kind of tournaments on LIVE or is it just 1 on 1 play?
I should have the game sometime this week. GameStop seems slow with shipping this time.

I order it from tru.com for the b2g1 sales.
Also included ESPN NBA 2K5 and Ultra Bust A Move.
Look me up as I should receive it any day now.

I picked this up too...much harder than I thought it would be, but it's a decent game. Definetely different from Links....
