In the Navy you can sail the seven seas, in the Navy you can worship satan as you please.
Anyhow its the royal navy which consists of 12 tug boats and a few submarines armed with atomic weapons so I'm sure its not like it'll bring around the end of the world or anything.

Religious freedom is just that, if I want to worship a cucumber because it is wise and all knowing I should be able to, especially if I am in the military fighting for those rights.

What part of Freedom of Religion makes this disappionting? If anything it should be reassuring that people truely do have this freedom. I am no satanist but that should not stop this guy from being one.

You have to draw the line somewhere, though. I'd rather not say to someone who believes in human sacrifice, "hey dude, it's your thing."
And before you go putting words in my mouth, no, I am not trying to imply that I believe Satanists participate in human sacrifice.
From a personal point of view though, all the 'satanists' I've known thought they were cool because they were being anti-establishment. 'Ha ha! Satan is my man! I am better than you!'
