It may not be a big deal to some, but I think it'll be cool. I sent the scanned plate and frame, and they liked it but wanted a pic of it on my car. I did that too, so maybe they will show it in a future issue. Well that's all :P

Edit: Since I have mentioned before, I thought everyone would know. I just have a license plate for my car that says VIEWTFUL and the frame I had it personalized also. On the top it says "LIFE IS VIEWTIFUL" and on the bottom it says "HENSHIN A GO-GO BABY!"

Basically since they have posted pics of people who have any game related tattoos or license plates, like the guy with the FFVII one, I'd thought I'd send mine. Hope that clears it up

Edit 2: There is a pic of just the plate and frame in my gallery

Thats pretty cool, what part of your car exactly is related to video games?

I plan to do a little more later on. I was thinking of just making it completely Viewtiful Joe, but I think I might add some other Capcom characters. I wouldn't mind putting Megaman and Zero in there, or Ryu and Ken. I got a lot of ideas, as of right now just ideas, but it'll happen.

I once had a question answered in the Buyers Beware section of GamePro along time ago. It was about the various multiplayer glitches in Perfect Dark (N64). I think Challenge 7 was unplayable when it was three players (one-, two- and four-players was fine). GamePro contacted Rare, who offered to pick up and replace the defective copy with a fixed version. Well, it wasn't that big of a deal, so I didn't contact them. I hope my letter benefitted some people, though.

I've always wanted to put a bad ass Link or triforce decal on my car. I don't know where i would get it though.

Cool YAB. Though I don't read Gamepro, I think being in a mag is pretty cool, well just cause it never really has happened to me heh heh.

Geek me?! How dare you! J/K I have always said that to my friends, heck I used to collect comics, I still watch cartoons, so yeah I'm a geek. It don't bother me none, I'm a geek in camoflauge though, so my job evens it out.

Basket, you can just get it just about anywhere. Find a good pic of what you want and take it to like one of those club places. I personally don't know, but my friend she is huge in customization so she said she will help me out. If I do it anytime soon I'll tell ya how to do it, but it probably isn't too hard to get someone to do, might be expensive like this guy who has all DBZ characters on his car. It looks sweet.

Well, if you are a geek, then there's hope for all geeks across the globe. I just saw the pic you posted of your wife. HOT!

In an issue of EGM, someone submitted a picture of their car with a map of Hyrule (The Legend of Zelda) painted on the hood. It looked pretty sweet.

I also saw that pic, that was pretty cool. The guy even had the arrows to get out of the Lost Woods. It was sweet of course.

oK A LITTLE TO MUCH TIME OR MONEY!

I'd like a little of the money if you just can't find things to do with it :-)

Thanks for the advice. How much do you think it would run me? Off the top of my head i was thinking maybe a tri-force over my hood and Link on the trunk.

Too much time, not always, with full time job and school at night I rarely have time. I find time though. Fortunately these 2 weeks no school until next term. Now too much money? Nope no way, the military don't pay enough

Hmm basketcase if it is just a decal then well it may cost you depending on the size, an 18" may cost you approximately 40 bucks. Who knows, you might find somewhere that they already have something similar, but it's doubtful, so it may be more costly because it will be a customized decal. Now if you want it painted, it will cost a whole lot more. As always it depends on how much you are willing to invest, what the quality will be.

My brother got some letter art into EGM a few years back. It was of super McNugget fighters (street fighter parody).

I won PSM's Reward Challenge once a while back; it was the Arc the Lad challenge. Of course, one of the prizes they sent me was a game I already had, but still.
I also had my name printed in [going back here] one of the New Universe comics when they were hunting down a new slogan. That New Universe sure didn't last very long, although I did enjoy DP-7.

It's not video game related but... back when I was in elementary school (80's) I was on the local evening news when they did a story on the cub scouts' canned food drive and I was the leader of the pack, walking in front... ahh the childhood memories... but it was only like 15 seconds...

I was on the Channel 7 (ABC) news once when I was in elementary school. They showed a 5 second clip of me walking up a hill during some sort of ceremony. :D

If only I recorded that moment of brief celebrity.

Got into Video Game Players mag (out of business I think) for a question on Genesis Shinobi 3: Shado Dancer.

Got a free Uncle Fester's Quest for NES back then for being chosen to try it out and do a survey. It just came in the mail out of the blue. Pretty random.

My bro was called on at nintendo powerfest in like 1992 to answer "How many endings are in Castlevania 2 NES?" He answered 2. The "correct" answer was 4 says the guy with the mic. I've only gotten 3 endings myself and have been searching for the 4th ending ever since. Oh wellz dumb prize anyways just some Nintendo wrist guards or something.

Got top 10 in Working Designs Raystorm contest.

When I was a baby I was enrolled in one of the baby gym program things. Apparently I was so goddamn cute that I was used as the poster child for their print advertisements for a short while. Ah the royalties are still rolling in.

I've gotten relatively a lot of camera time at Duke basketball games since I've been in school here. Also over Spring Break I went to a Miami Heat game and got on the Jumbotron TWICE. I guess it's something about me and basketball games.

Just as I was getting over a lifetime of being made fun of for being a chubby baby you just have to pour more salt on the wound don't ya? Back to therapy I go.

I got one of my college papers publisehed which was pretty funny. It's in a writing textbook and they had to fake all these drafts and journal entries and stuff because in reality I had blown off the assignment, and wrote it the night before it was due. The professor just happened to know the authors and gave it to them. There's discussion questions and everything.

It wasn't mass fame, but I won a contest and got to meet Shigeru Miyamoto at E3 last year. It was awesome. As for publications, I had a letter in Nintendo power, and my name in the Arena in NP once

This one was very localized fame, but quite bizarre:
Background: In school, I tended to be somewhat quiet.. I always staked out a seat in the back. I didn't speak up a whole lot in class, in general, but I did do my assignments and got generally good grades.
Anyway, in my high school Psych class, we had a test. Multiple choice. One of the questions was:

Who came up with the concept of the 'tabula rasa'?

Option C was my name [which I do NOT share with any famous psychologist].

I have never seen that before, or since; either she somehow picked me to be an answer, just goofing, or she was trying to come up with names, and mine was somehow in her subconscious when she wrote the test.

Eh, not really "fame" per say, but worth a mention.

Me and a buddy of mine started our own Cable Access TV show a few years back. It ran for 9 episodes over two years, during which I was recognized a few times around my town.

I still have a tshirt with the show name on it, "Nothing To Do"

In college i was taking a printmaking studio class. I made a piece that everyone loved. hmm lets see, as of now it was displayed in three different places. A movie theater for one month , the college gallery for like another month and in a another exhibition in a computer lab for another month. Hmm I also had a another piece published in a book collaboration between my college and the University of Western Australia. hmm when the book was unveiled in our school i was one of the students invited to meet, lol while the meeting everyone had a chance to talk about their piece an a little introduction mmhahah lets just say i had fun there, with the school president and the faculty representing both schools. hmm we got our picture taken together for a newspaper story i suppose, i never did figure out which one tho...I guess thats my one semester of recognition.
