I think I lost this bet by just about the greatest margin possible and I had to vent about it.

Here was the bet: Over/Under on Steve Mcnair throwing yardage - 235.5 Must play.

I took the over since even though Mcnair had been struggling he is a former MVP and more importantly Minnesota's defense has average 280 yards in the air per game. So I wake up today and check the box score here is what I saw:

Steve Mcnair--- 2 completions, 5 attempts, 2 yards. OUCH. I don't think I have ever lost a bet by so much. Also even though he only threw 5 times it was enough for him to qualify as having played, so I couldn't even get a no action on bet. What a crappy day.

Luckily only 10$ I usually only wager 10-20 every other week or so on football. I find it spices up the games a bit. But it was more of the principle of the matter that upset me about this. The guy throws 5 times for 2 yards! Come on, they gotta no action that. *sigh, no such luck.

Next time you could really go for broke and try for something like paraplegics as draft picks for the next NBa season. At least go for one who be of appropriate height if stood up, perhaps strapped to a pole.

Hmm I thought you were gonna say he had 235.4 yds on the game, don't ask how he gets the .4
