Well, I bought "Devil May Cry" used for a whopping $6.70 because I heard that anyone who has a PS2 should have that game in their collection. I bought the last copy at Gamestop and the disc is in mint but the cover insert is faded, wrinkled, and has spots where the ink is missing. It looks like the case may have been through the wash machine. I know it was only $6.70 but it really bothers me that the case looks so crappy.

Anyone know where I can download the cover? I have a nice printer and I took a new case from my Killzone demo. Now I just need a high quality copy of the cover.

hehe I find it hilarious that the search engine just links you to cdcovers. My only issue with cdcovers is that tey dont use print quality images. When you print these out they're going to be low quality because they only give you 72 DPI made for the web, while print quality is 300 DPI.

Wow, thanks for the quick replies! I may try that place that sells them if I can't find a high res version through that search engine. Thanks!

Here's another site. it has the complete cover as one large pic:

I was kind of in the same situation as you. I sold my copy of DMC and was thinking of maybe picking it up again at Gamestop since I recently got DMC2.

Holy crap, now that is high res! If that place I ordered from (for $1.50) doesn't work out then I will use that place that you linked to. Very nice. Thanks.

hmmm... this brigns up a question.....

i never played the assumingly horrendous sequel to DMC.... and i was just hopping around the covers for it thanks to this thread...

was that game really TWO discs?

was one disc a demo or a soundtracK? was one disc for the girl... and one for dante? or was the game just that long?

anyone?

It's two discs...one per character. That doesn't mean the game is long however...in fact because it's fairly easy it's quite a short game experience.

Edit: And if I remember correctly, Capcom actually ended up making the PAL release one DVD9 disc instead.

No problems here. I'm using Mozilla Firefox so that might safeguard me a little. Also, that site has a great selection of covers but the resolution is not all that great for most of them. Bleh!

Or you could ask one of us to scan their cover for free, I might try and post it tonight for you if I don't forget after getting back from TRU.

That cover galaxy place listed has a very, very high resolution scan of the entire cover so I'm all set. Thanks though and good luck at Toys "R" Us.

I did order the cover from that GameRecyclery place. It set me back a total of $2.29 with shipping and arrived today in near mint condition. This doesn't appear to be a copy either, it appears to be the original (non-GH) cover. I am very impressed and now own a near perfect copy of Devil May Cry (non-GH) for a total of $8.99. :D

Just curious. What kind of paper do you print these out on? I don't think I would ever need to print one out, but I've always been curious as to how good these printed versions look.

My local BB never had the game and the site never listed the game in stock. And even if it did (which it currently does not) then they had the GH version which I did not want. I wanted the original non-GH cover and I think for what I spent that I got a decent deal. Thanks for the sarcasm though.
