With the online virtual arcade (people can watch the fight and the winner stays on and plays one of the spectators) seems like we could have some hot CAG on CAG action.
Gamestop has a daily deal today of 10% off Xbox pre-orders with coupon code XBOX10. I'm thinking of picking it up...any better deal out there?

Never been a huge fan of DOA, but I pray that the "arcade" idea is implemented into more games in the future. Can you hear me Capcom?

If TRU gets some copies in, I don't see why I couldn't find another two games to go with it. That'd be the best deal for me.
The fighting genre is my favorite of all, so yeah I am picking this up. Actually, I got in on the Outpost deal, so it should be here soon!

I've got mine pre-ordered at Gamestop so I could get the limited edition figurine and double disc case. I'll probably get rid of my copy of MKD though after I get DOA. The only reason I bought it in the first place was to hold me over 'till DOA came out anyway.
This "Arcade Mode" sounds incredible. The first I've ever heard of it. Why can't this be included in more games?

I also preorder a copy from outpost for about $37.00 with Tax (IL Resident) Free Shipping. This was about a month ago I think.
Outpost drags on shipping too, but when I get it I'll be online kicking arse and getting my arse kicked. Look me up soon :wink:

Yea I bought Sharktale for xbox to use as a place holder for DOA:U on Wed. Pretty funny I got 2 M rated titles and Sharktale lol.

I am not getting this game for a couple of reasons:
the game has no class. It dipicts women as sexual objects and not fighter ability.
It is just a button masher that a five year old can beat. I like fighting games with a challenge like VF4
and the street fighter alpha series.
I played DOA 3 for an hour and the only button I pressed the whole time was the A button and I beat it. VF4 is a so much better game that takes skill and expertise to beat the game.

Getting mine as a early XMas gift. Sounds awesome, and yeah it will probably top MK:D but MK:D will still be a nice side game, and I have SVC Chaos and Capcom versus Snk 2 right now when I need some 2d goodness, as well as Guilty Gear: Reload.
From all the previews I read, it does indeed sound ultimate. It's been delayed for good reasoning, and I believe it will be the best online fighting game for quite awhile.

Are you sure you'll be getting that? DOA wasn't on the Gamerush pre-order list which means they shouldn't be getting in copies to sell at any of the stores. Chances are it won't come in and they'll just give you your money back. Thats what they did to me when I pre-ordered Metal Slug 3 from them.

I'm a big DoA fan, Thou I was mad when they went Xbox only because I was hopping the series would be on the PS2 too. And I almost stopped being a fan when DoA:XBV came out. But I'm back to being a fan again. =P I just wish they would work on the story for the games, they have so much potential.

Not really into fighting games, but with the TRU sale I was thinking about it. I' m not sure if that justifies buying it now, though, since I know I wouldn't play it much.

One of my favorite series next to guilty gear, however, they removed Brad Wong from this version despite including the other characters from 3 as unlockable :-(
between the date setbacks and order issues,been nothing but problems with this release thus far:-(
In fact, I just sent a bitchgram to outpost.com for trying to cancel my order. Hopefully they'll get it right......
