Selling Preorder Codes

I'm wondering how legal this is? I sold a Read Dead Redemption code for an astounding 26$ on eBay and have come into possession of a few more of them but I'm reluctant to sell them if it's not such a good idea.

Nothing illegal about it, but if you're a gamestop employee selling them off or something you could definitely be in trouble with them over it.
