I snagged one. If it comes in bad shape or incomplete I can just take it back to a B&M.

Only thing stopping me from getting one is whether its complete or not. I have at least 4 sorces who would kill to have this game for $50 (nice way to make a profit :))

Umm I'm not sure that's much of a deal, unless its complete and in good shape. Otherwise I'd just go with ebay. God I remember when I picked these things up for $15, I told everyone this was a great game but no one was interested and then look at the Suik series now.

But damn, that cover art is ugly. Jeez I still can't believe how ugly it is.

I consider it better than suikoden 1. Maybe I"m just not a fan of portrait like covers... *shrug*

this is a good game for 30 bucks if you've never played and are looking for a good RPG. If you don't consider this something is wrong with you. The price may be high for an old game but Ive had 3 different copies.

i picked up a copy mint and complete from gamestop for 29.99, before using the 10% card last summer

it would have to be mint to warrant the 40 dollar price tag, if not it can be had for alot less on ebay. this one isnt even that rare, thats Suikoden 2

I dunno if Sui 1 is a deal at that price. But, if you see 2 at that price, we would build a monument of you. Great games BTW.

Check your local mom and pops stores and flea markets. I've been making a steady flow of income just selling games I get off the deals here.
3 seperate vendors want it, one sells 'em for $70. :shock:
Personally the games worth nothing to me, I've always disliked the suikoden series as a whole.

bad thing here is no Mom and Pop store will make it here. We got 3 game crazys. 3 ebgames. 2 gamestops. 3 Game traders and not to mention the smaller traders. SO many used shops here makes it impossable to make a good trade.

Funny, it works the other way for me, too many vendors fighting it out means I'll always get the best deals :)
