Unfortunately, it isn't just celebrities. I have known way too many people who make a practice of it. Unless someone gets killed, though, non-celebrities don't make the news for it, though.

Of course! I would think they love him more now that they know he can drink massive amounts of beer. They will probably find some way for him to advertise some german beer now or something.

Oh believe me I know. Someone I know just recently got their 2nd DWI in less than 4 months now. For some reason some people just don't understand.
