I'm in it too. Its free and if you're lucky, you can get in on some of the betas as well. And they send you this cool little case that holds a few games and 4 memory cards.

I've been in for awhile. I've gotten a couple free game cases and been in a bunch of betas as a result (Killzone, Socom 2, Monster Hunter).

I'm a member too. Every once and a while they will ask you too fill out surveys about games and your gaming habits, and they occasionally send you free crap in the mail. I've gotten demos of Dark Cloud 2, Downhill Domination, a free T-shirt, etc. They also have small events open only to members of the GAP, like try-outs to be a correspondant at E3 and such.

Yeah, I've been in for 2 years or so and haven't gotten much besides the welcome stuff and the occasional demos. I've never been invited to a beta, which sucks because there's been some good ones lately.

its pretty cool. I like the pen they send you, in fact I liked it so much I just had it run out of ink on me the other day after about 2 months of constant use.

yea, in my 3 years of bein in it, i have yet to be accepted into a beta, even though i checked the box that says that i want to be in...

but yea, you get some stuff occasionally

Im in this, but I never get into any betas cause Im not 18 yet. All Ive gotten so far from it is stuff people here already listed, the shirt, the stationary/game case thingy that came with the pen, the certificate, and that useless card with your number ID. I used to get a lot of demos, but they seem to have stopped.

I'm pretty sure you just register on their site, and they will select you. I don't think you can just ask and get in.

I'm in the same boat man. Been in it for a couple years, yet never got much more than the welcome stuff. I think I don't get any of the beta stuff cuz I don't have an online adapter, and I think most things are for online beta stuff.

The beta testing they do through sony is online only, and i think you have a better chance if you're on a high speed connection

Keeping your profile on playstation underground up to date (updating your collection) will give you a better chance of getting invited.

If you want to get into the GAP, your best bet is to join the Playstation Underground, and send in the warranty/registration cards that come with all Sony games. If they see that you buy a lot of their crap, then they figure that its worth their time to get your opinion on what type of crap you'd like to buy from them in the future.

I joined. Its cool. They ask you some questions and it seems like your opinion really matters and you get into beta tests and you get a pen a cd holder and a free issue of OPM.

the only thing i've gotten from GAP is the binder they send you with the membership card and stuff, and i may have gotten a demo or two, and i won a playstation watch from i contest that i guess i entered on the GAP main page. i've also been invited to 2 betas, but they've both been full when i accepted.

It's kinda random. Sign up for Underground, register your PS2, Network adapter, and games, and you may be invited someday. As someone stated earlier, updating your collection every so often helps a lot. If you're invited, you'll be notified by mail or more commonly, e-mail. After that, just follow any instructions they give you and then you may be in.
