I suck... I'm switching from a B- to a B for my grade. I need to improve my countering, all I can do is Jann Lee's "Watahhhhh!!" moves. Yup yup. Great game, though.

I'm still kinda un-decided. The first disk is will most likly never be out of it's case again. Pretty game, online is awsome, kinda low in the number of fighters though.
My copy is currently being shipped to me by Outpost.

There IS lag, especially in big games... it really depends on the connection.
I haven't seen one lag free game running at 60 fps.
But the game is alright. They made it less scrub friendly, you can no longer mash out reversals and they brought back the f+FREE to reverse mid kicks. So that adds A LITTLE more depth to it. There are no sidestep moves in this game like in DOA 3. Most of the movelist is based off of DOA 2 HC.
Like Mortal Kombat Deception, both DOAU and it are not that great of fighting games(the reason you don't see high level players holding tournaments for this game at EVOLUTION(www.evo2k.com) which is the fighting game world championships... but since it is online. It is pretty fun to get a quick fix and talk shit to people lol.
I'm just playing both waiting for TEKKEN 5 to come out in the arcade later mid November.
But regarding latency, to date, MK Deception is the smoothest online 3D fighter.

I just received my copy yesterday. I experienced very little lag, but I did play with someone with horrid lag. I just thinks this game is probably connection dependant.
Very cool game I really enjoyed my play time online. Now I have to play the one player and unlock some costumes and goods for the characters. Look me up or invite me in if you see me online.
I got mine last night. I have DOA2: Hardcore on PS2, so I knew what to expect. Graphics are better than DOA3, and they look great. Fighting is very similar to DOA2: HC, with very little (if any) new moves. The new levels are cool, and it is always fun to knock an opponent down a flight of stairs or into a wild animal. I played online, and they was some bad lag on my opponents side. I'm sure it was because of his connection. Each fighter has about 20 costumes?! But yeah, if you've played DOA2 or DOA3, you know what to expect here.
