Wii Speak

A local electronics store has a ton of Wii Speaks for under $10. They're all in boxes that say Animal Crossing coming soon - so they're pretty old.

Is it even worth picking up to have for no apparent reason? I don't do online gaming really, and even if I did, I'm not sure I'd want the Wii Speak to communicate with other people.

It doesn't seem like theres any flipping value to Wii Speaks either.

That $10 could go to a DS game on clearance or something instead... Hmm...

Only a couple games use Wii Speak, Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing. Conduit 2 is also going to use it, but not a lot of games use the feature. If it comes with Animal Crossing, $10 is a fine deal for it.

No its not bundled with Animal Crossing, it just says Animal Crossing is coming soon.

I'll echo the "If you're playing Animal Crossing/Monster Hunter/whatever, then it's worth $10 to add it to your gaming experience" statement.

Probably one of the better deals you'll find on any kind of official Nintendo accessory.
