I saw this at the GameRush "coming soon" list. I forgot when it comes out but I think its late 2004 early 2005. I'm sooo interested in this.

Wow that is a freaking good deal. I hope this is real, because hydrothunder was great at the arcades and dreamcast, and I thought rush 2 was fun and heard that 2049 was even better. :lol:

I thought hydrothunder sucked for all systems, but rush was a great game.

Are they going to improve graphics or add anything to Hydro Thunder? I love the game, but probally won't get it if it's just a port with nothing added.
Never played Rush 2049. Is it good?
EDIT- Is this PS2 only? If so, tht makes me sad. :(

i was looking foward to this game, it was supposed to be release last month some time... it seems to have dissappeared!

I really liked Hydro Thunder in the arcades but the Dreamcast version was a little bit of a dissapointment because they rushed it out to make the system's launch. I hope it has a circuit mode.
It's also too bad Midway never released Offroad Thunder for the PS2. It was on a lot of release lists but never made it out. I used to play it all the time in the arcade but I don't see it around anymore.

you lose a lot of what made rush great when you do not play it in the arcades. The fact that the game actually had a clutch pedal was awesome.

4 Wheel Thunder is another one that's a great game in the same series. It can be had on ebay fairly cheap.

Im just interested because of RUSH2049, i have it for the Dreamcast, but since I can only plug in 4 systems at a time, my XBOX, GC, PS2, DVD Player take too much space

Four-player stunt mode on Rush is some of the most fun I've had on a Dreamcast. I got a whole bunch of peope into that, back in college... good times!! We actually blew off the main racing mode entirely... it was all about Stunt mode!

SWEET! I love Hydro Thunder, still never did finish in first place on the last bonus track ><. Had it on DC & PC (still do - just havent played them in a long while). These two games for 20 bucks is a deal and a half. Both some good arcade racing fun.
