XBOX HELP PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

ok this is the problem. i turn on my xbox with espn basketball 2k5 inside it. i have my controllers plugged into my controller ports. i start espn basektabll and the controller when i dont touch it veers off to either the left or the right. I switch controller ports and it still does that. i switch controllers and it still does that. but odd thing is that if i move around a little bit then it goes back to normal and everything is ok. any ideas guys?t hanks alot

Watch the direction of the analog stick when you power the Xbox up. It will read its current position (when powered on) as the center.

I have that problem in only NFL 2k5 and NBA 2k5. I just figured it was something they did in game since it only does it when I lightly press a direction.

i plugged a new controller in and the same thing. all my controllesr are microsoft brand s controllers. maybe its jus the game then?>

unplug the controller, rotate both sticks in a circular motion and then let go of them. Plug controller back in, should work fine.

I get this in a lot of games. I just pause then move the sticks in a quick circular motion 3-4 times, then I'm set. Takes maybe 5 seconds.
