I would say it is fake if there was no original source but the guy on the original forums claims it to be his. I am not saying it is real, but it seems like an awful lot of work just to make people think you have a video game a week early.

Yeah, definitely a fake. Wal-mart corp. computers have street dates programmed in. If the item is brought to a register for sale before the street date, then the register wi'll not ring the item up. People put shit out at the wrong time all the time, but games/DVDs never make it out the door before the street date.

I seriously don't understand why people give a shit. I mean, honestly. I could care less if some guy bought it a week early; all I care about is that I got it for $40 instead of $50. I can wait a week, I have plenty of games to play when I have the time.

i think it's fake for one reason... h2 would be under glass... and anything under glass can't be taken to a self cheackout because you have to pay for it in electronics at least at all the walmarts i've ever been to in the states.

People who brag about getting games early just have low self-esteem is all. Its the "LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME" syndrome that unwanted people seem to have. They were probably born as an accident (because their mother were/are whores) and they've never been able to deal with it.

I just called my Gamestop and told them someone broke street date and they said they didn't have them to sell even if someone had. Consider yourself lucky.
I also emailed that photo to Gamestop customer service and gave all the store info on the receipt to the store manager.
So I'm a snitch, I want my Halo 2.

Testers have been playing the game online for months. Yes you can play it online without having to worry if you have it.

Yup like I said Im EXCITED to play it too! If I can get it in early from my sister in law of course im going to sit right down and play! But what im not going to do is take a picture of myself holding up a game and saying look at me. Or go to the lenghts to make a FAKe picture of myself holding up A FAKE game or A FAKE recpit to look cool. Im not going to stand in line stay up all night to be the "first" person to have halo2 when mmm well no matter how you look at it you are not the " first" person to have it. Like I said its a friggin GAME. It won't make you the president of the USA. It won't get you laid. I can wait till it comes out. Im not going to passout like a little bitch If i don't get it opening day or week for that matter. Im still going to shower/ shave and live outside of my parrents basment ( unlike some of you) if I don't get Halo 2! My life dosn't revole around a videogame!

well for anyone who doesn't know why his is a big deal is because no one is suposed to have it early. MS controls when it hits the street and these guys selling it are breaking contracts with MS. Also since some stores broke street date other stores may be allowed to sell it. And then all of other CAGs can get their copy early.
