Final Fantasy 7, i got to near the end, and just decided not to finish it. i've already seen my cousin finish the game, so i had no need to do it myself.

Only 1 so far this gen and that would be Prince of Persia. I came damn close to doing it with FFX (and looking back I wish I never would have finished, that game was garbage). I was about 30 hours into FFX and quit for about 6 months, then I started over and finished, big mistake, I should never touched it again.

After 'finishing' both VC and SA, I think it might be time to revisit Liberty City...... eh... maybe... it's kinda hard to go back to it and begin anew... but sadder that I still can prettymuch recall most of the first map by memory alone...

I got to the last boss of Jade Cocoon 2, but he was way too tough. The only available monsters to level up with were ones I faced at the beginning, so I gave up.

KOTOR - found out my newly-purchased Xbox was defective, Would not connect to Live, due to something not being properly replaced when it was refurbished. Basically thinking it was modded. Didn't have enough for a memory card at the time, sent it off to MS. When it came back, the HDD was wiped clean. Was right at the end, too. :(

Generally speaking, I try to finish everything I start, no matter how bad it is. Wolverine's Revenge, TMNT, The Hulk, you name it.

The one exception would be Bloodrayne, which was such an unmitigated pile of suck, that I was forced to quit 3/4 into it, right when I got to Germany. So shamefull.

Almost happened to me with Beyond Good and Evil and Culdcept, but actually finished this weekend. Now I have Dragon Warrior 7 with 60+ hours, hopefully I'll finish it this week!

Shinobi. I'm stuck on the stage where you have to fight the lighting samurai or whatever in the really narrow hallway. Just got tired of losing and moved on.

Xenosaga. I was flying through the game, but I got to the boss of the "Song of Nephilim" (I think that's what it was called....) and got destroyed. I didn't feel like spending hours leveling up so I moved on.

Those are probably the worst cases, but there's plenty of games that I'd play the first level or 3 and just move on.

Yeppers. Some games I'm just not that into [I wasn't a huge fan of the GTA games.] Others get replaced by newer [to me] games and never go back to them.
I think I have 20 PS2 games, and have beaten/completed 4 of them. Just beat Going Commando last night, however.
That doesn't even count how many games I've bought, played a little, and sold/traded.
