In fact, I then realized that I haven't heard one of her posts in some time. Anyone know where she's gone.

Yep. Since your a dyed in the wool Marine, that's just about exactly the same responce I was expecting. Since I knew you had a sense of humor, I figured you wouldn't blow up.. some people have before.

There was this one time I saw a Marine reduce this poor lady to tears. There was a parade in the area around the local base ( I think it was one of the times the president landed in Michigan).. She was telling her friends she didn't understand why the Marines looked like they did.. a tan shirt with blue pants with red stipes up the side... she said something to the effect of "the must have made a uniform out of whatever was just lying around".. one of the Marines just spun around and proceeded to chew her out about the nature of the uniform and all the proud men that died wearing it. I mean the guy had a point, but it was way over the line making this little old lady cry.

EDIT: To stay kind of on topic: I don't know... maybe one of those creepy guys over in off topic know. I mean, I'd worry about your wife as well, but as many times as it's been posted that you're a Marine, I doubt they'd even bother getting too creepy... this isn't Gamefaqs, anyway. :)

Hey DW, (or anyone else that can help me out) I'm getting my ass handed to me by Hulk Davidson. Could you give me some sort of strategy, since I hate Gamefaqs guides?
Yeah no problem at all, he was a pain in the ass the first time, but he is one of the easiest to defeat actually. There are 2 different ways, the first one I'll tell will allow you to not get hit once if done correctly.

Stay a little bit away from him because at the beginning he will do a butt stomp then run up directly to him and he will start to swing his axe. These are real easy to dodge by doing a high dodge (just press up), but if you have some problem you can use VFX Slow. He will do that 3 times.

After he swings his axe that third time just run to the other side of the screen and jump on one of the chandeliers. That way you will be protected, because after the third swing he will charge to the other side.

As soon as he passes you underneath, jump down since he will no longer get you, he will run into the wall and be vulnerable for a few seconds. This is when you go up to him and use Slow+Zoom+Punch combination attacks. That's basically Slow Zoom Red-Hot-One-Hundred combo and you will greatly lower his life gauge.

If you do that he won't even have a chance to do any of his other attacks.

The other way is still possible to not get hit, but you just have to be a bit careful. Instead of just dodging, when you dodge you can use Slow Zoom Red-Hot-One-Hundred during a small period, but if you do it for too long he will use one of his other attacks like the butt slam. Once you see him jumping just use Slow and Zoom and run in the same direction (you don't want to go the opposite direction and then really have no way to run when you are up against a wall).

If you manage to time ZRHOH correctly between dodges he will not do the stomps and continue to do the normal axe swings. Be careful when you do it, he might try and block your attack with his axe. If you do it constantly his axe will break and he will be vulnerable for a small period of time, he might do an attack, this is where a big red skull mark appears. You can dodge it, but be careful about the bombs that will come down from the ceiling it will cause fire too which just plain sucks.

That is why I recommend the first way, because if done correctly (by running close to him as soon as the battle begins) he will not have a chance to do the other attack and still would be defeated in a short time to rate a Viewtiful score.

Hope that helps, that should be right, I haven't played that level in a while. Hmm perhaps I should try again.

Edit: I just did it with one of the other characters in the game, if you run fast enough (either you have a fast character or use Mach Speed) to the other side, and stop before the chandelier you can just wait for him to get near and jump (not dodge) over him. He will only be vulnerable for a small period of time, so don't over do the ZRHOH. Do it around 5 seconds (1-one thousand, 2-one thousand...) then go by the middle of the room he will butt stomp close to you and begin the procedure. You can do the ZRHOH between swings, just don't over do it, and will not change his strategy. I just got a Rainbow Viewtiful doing the 2nd option carefully, I think if you do the 1st one you might just get a regular Viewtiful, because you might get an Awesome instead of Viewtiful in your V-Points section.
