Make me buy a GC [Mobile/Archive]

OK youse guys made me buy one, I have 56 EB credit so I'm getting it there. SHould I get the Metroid bundle or wait for the double dash bundle?

(I would rather have metroid but the Mario Kart comes with two controllers)

There are so many good exclusives for the Gamecube I think its an easy sell. Plus Nintendo dropped the price on most of the Players Choice games to $20.

The GC is just FUN! I have all three systems and the GC is probably the most "I'm ten years old and I play games all night long with my 4th grade buddies" fun. MonkeyBall, Mario kart, Tales of Symphonia, Zelda. Metroid, Pikmin, Mario Sunshine,.... they're all just so cute. Its a different flavor than the the Xbox or PS2. That being said, I still play the other two more. :)

So many good games and exclusive ones to boot for the GCn. Metroid Prime and its sequel are just alone worth it.

my advice: go to TRU and buy either the metroid bundle or the MKDD bundle. if you spend over $75 you get a $10 giftcard which you can use towards Zelda or any of the other fantastic $20 games.

i have XB, PS2, and GC; the GC has been ignored in favor of the XB for a few months, but the GC will be getting a lot more love real soon...(metroid: echos, the new Zelda, etc...)

in short, the GC is totally worth it considering how cheap it is.

HEre's some more advice. The rest are arguable if you actually need one. but it's an awesome deal none the less.. My PS2 gets the most use because of it's backwards compatability and it's dvd player option but following it very closely is the GCN with it's awesome Game Boy Player (you have to ick up one of these with it, I love playing all of my GB/GBC/GBA games on a big screen). Last comes the Xbox. I love it like my other systems but not as much as my GCN. NMOt too many good exclusives IMO for it.

Yes quite worth a GCN purchase. That and Metroid Prime were the reasons I so wantedc a GCN but found many other reasons as well.

Get the one with double dash and then buy prime for real cheap. My top reasons for you to get a gamecube are Paper Mario 2, New Zelda, and Resident Evil 4..but one they sucker you in you will see wind waker,donkey konga, twin snakes, tales of symphonia, skies of arcadia, soul calibur 2(with link) Resident Evil remake and 0, Eternal Darkness, Luigis Mansion, Mario sunshine, Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, F-zero, Mario golf, party, tennis, and the list goes on....

Mario Kart is the main reason I video game, and have a Gamecube. I wish they came out with more than one version per system though.

Yeah, the MK:DD bundle has 2 controllers in the US. It is definitely the better deal.

Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Mario Sunshine, Rogue Squadron III ( it has the RSII, which got a 9.4 from Gamespot),Viewtiful Joe,MGS:Twin Snakes, Zelda Wind Waker, New Zelda,Animal Crossing, Tales of Symphonia,Mario Kart, Resident Evil games. Also, if you only have a ps2, all three system games are better for the cube.

NOTE-
Not all Mario Kart GameCube bundles have 2 controllers. Some have $15 gift checks good towards your purchase of a GC game. You'll have to check with the store to see which one they will have. The ones with the gift check only has 1 controller.
