First Metroid Prime 2 Review Score [Mobile/Archive]

Link to the metacritic website - 93/100 according to EGM (I'm guessing reviews of 10, 9 and 9) in the January issue. I haven't gotten my copy in the mail yet and there isn't a quote from the review posted, but obviously the game lives up expectations in the view of one major magazine.

Considering the biggest complaint from Prime was the control scheme, you'd think they would make it programmable for Echoes. I guess big N and game_over18 really DO know games better than we do. We're just the stupid masses.

i played the echoes demo and loved it. I had no problems with the control at all. It was very bright graphically, and the controls are spot on. I dont care about what score it gets, but there are very few must own gamecube games, but this is one of them. I am looking forward to this a hell of a lot more than baiten kaitos.

I enjoyed Metroid Prime, and plan on getting Echoes.

That being said I wasn't particulary blown away by it by any means. It was a good, solid, enjoyable game, but the story (or more acurately lack of story) and the absence of any talking (just a bunch of repetitive music) were its major faults to me. I'm hoping this Dark Samus makes things more interesting.
