Well after a week of peace, and non-stop eating, it looks as though I've relapsed and my tonsilitis is back in full force. Kind of fucked up considering I took all the medication, looks like a trip to health services is in order on monday... assuming I can make it that long. This morning was extra fun as I couldn't get out of bed, literally. Then when I finally did I had to throw up, of course since my throat is pretty much swollen shut from my tonsils, this was not an easy task, so I nearly choked to death on my own vomit before forcing it out. That sucks, I've had my throat swollen close to the point of being closed. I was stung by a wasp and since I'm allergic to them, my throat got swollen and made it hard to breathe. After a trip to ER, I was told that I could die the next time I get stung. Now I don't stay outside for long and if I see a bee or wasp I'll avoid it as best I can.

They've done 14 GC titles to date and the ROI sucked on all of them. It all comes down to that.

I just started on SH yesterday and I'm kinda having problems getting in to it. I KNOW I'm going to get flamed for this, but when I play RPG's I like to eithe use a guide or walk through from gamefaqs. I just don't have the time to spend hours wandering around lost, plus I absolutely hate missing sidequests or items. Lately I've noticed that whether I enjoy a game or not comes down to whether the walkthrough I use is good or not and for SH I just can't find a good walkthrough that's well written AND points out exactly where all the items are. Most FAQS are too laid back and just simply re-state the story (which is annoying, I can read it on my TV I don't need to read it again on my PC) and just say "search around everywhere for items".

I'm trying to work up the desire to give it another try tonight, hopefully I can find a decent FAQ.

Same here. I just wanted to try it one day so I took a chance and got it, but honestly I don't drink the soda or worry about carbs/etc if I'm going to get a coke, so I always always reach for the original coke first. And yeah, Pepsi Edge is pretty gross, IMO.

I still don't see the appeal of it. It's just another FPS, and not a terribly exciting one for that matter. From the little bit I've played, it seems like it'd get repetitive very quickly, more than other shooters. Then again, I've never played for more than an hour or so at a time...
