Well I would've posted this in the off-topic, but those glorious days have passed us, so I give you this:

Spent roughly 4 hours at health services and the hospital and I still feel horrible; however, I got to enjoy all the following:

1. Lab woman jamming the needle into my arm to take blood, because "my blood wasn't coming out fast enough for her" I'm dehydrated dumbass, what do you expect? Then she apologizes for hurting me, gee maybe next time you do that warn the person before you shove a needle that's already buried halfway through their arm the rest of the way through. The best part is she then says can I take more blood, and since I couldn't and still can't talk, I gave her the Dikembe Mutumbo finger wave. Turns out she already had enough blood anyway. :roll:
2. More needles, this time into my mouth.
3. The inside of my mouth being slashed with a razor.
4. Spitting up about a cup of blood and pus.
5. Spending $21 in co-pay on medications (there goes my next 5th, or video game, or more likely both depending on how I budget them)

All in all a great day!

This is all from the horse's recurring tonsilitis. I had it for about a week, then it went away for a week, and now it's back. Apparently there was some sort of pus build up in the back of my mouth that wasn't going away, so they had to puncture that, by any means necessary, as had it continued to grow it's likely I could've had problems breathing, and the slight potential that cag would be short one horse. Now it makes sense to me why I woke up the other day and struggled to puke up some blood and what not, nearly choking on it of course, and promptly falling to the bathroom floor. Then waking up yesterday in drool and a bit of puke. Fortunately today despite all the sudden sharp pains and loss of blood, I'm proud to say I didn't pass out.

The horse does appreciate all your well wishes and comments, now it is time for some rest.

On a related note this sounds suspiciously like our campus health services. You go in complaing your throat is a bit sore, they run about 3 hours of exhustive and meaningless ( I never knew they drew blood for a sore throat) tests, just to tell you have minor strep throat and if you pay $40 bucks for this medicine it'll be gone in a week or so. Thanks all to hell doc, but when I was a kid an appointment for dianosging (sp?) strep throat took about 30 mins tops and didn't involve sticking my in the arm with needles.

I hope you feel better...and that you aren't going to the hospital by my house. A guy died in the waiting room and it took the staff like a day and a half to figure it out.

My bf got salmonella over the summer and had to go to the ER at the same place. Luckily, he's all better now, but his family got a phone call a week ago from the hospital asking him if he was still going to go through with surgery on his arm (!!!???) Umm...his arm is doing just fine...

Yea, I have a ton of bad hospital horror stories, but I'll save them for later. As long as you don't live in Cleveland, you should be fine :-D

The hospital here is not what I'd call the best... I really want to go back "home" and see my doctor there, probably get some steroids and cipro and kick this puppy, but that doesn't seem to be how things are gonna go down. Spent all day today in bed, and still can't eat much, but the blood has slowed down, which is good. So, for the time being I'm gonna just force a smile and try to rise from the ashes.

I figured you guys would just hijack threads quietly until you get it back but... I just read the 6 or so apology threads and it's just utter chaos. And to think I was working happily on my story and would come back to an even somewhat sane community on here, but I guess I was wrong. Hah nice, but not only do I only have 11$ to my name, but my dad's CC is empty (for what I know), and I can't ask him and they seem to be pretty expensive (even if they're worth it). Hopefully I can get star ocean eventually though.

OK, WHOLY SHIT GUYS! I know I was gone for a while, but CAG seems to be in god damn pandemonium lately, especially without the OTTs. I figured you guys would just hijack threads quietly until you get it back but... I just read the 6 or so apology threads and it's just utter chaos. And to think I was working happily on my story and would come back to an even somewhat sane community on here, but I guess I was wrong. God shaq-fuing damn, that is almost as bad as gamefaqs what you guys did.

Star Ocean? The is definatley worth at least $25, that and Grandia are probably the 2 best undervalued psx games. Man I loved that game, the combat system is great.

Yaeh it was great. Sheer and utter pnademonium, but it was orchestrated so it really wasn't that bad. It just happened. I think Casey know that we needed our OTT fix so gave us a couple hours and everybody was just scrambling. You should have been there. hmm...I just thought of something, since you don't seem to like your dad's girlfriend, why don't you ask to use her CC for some games. Yeah, what other site? I didn't get any word of this new OTT. I'm not really an SNK fighting fan, but I believe Sneaky and Casey are and there's probably a lot more. You could make a topic on it in the General Gaming board.

Did morbid mention it? well anyhow I'm going off for a day you can go ask him about the OTT that we tried messing around with on the Dreamcaster's relm page, I really hope a few more people join up the site has quite a bit of potential.

Well the horse's voice is pretty much 90% back to normal, which is good news. The bad news is the horse spent another friday at home sick... missing out on formal, partying before formal, and going out to the bar for his friend's 22nd birthday. Kinda sucks... fortunately next weekend is the final CMU football game of the year, so that should be festive, and then my birthday is the 24th... we'll see how that one goes.
