As explained in the article, it's price competition. Now I can finally get Madden NFL 2005 for only $29.99!

Damn they are a few months too late. I got most of the game already. 30-15 + 6 shipping = 21. 42 dollars for three games is not bad, but you gotta hurry because it will end on the 14.

I guess Sega and their $19.99 sports games hurt EA more than EA expected them to.

Wow what is crazy, is imagine how much EA will sell now. They have been selling good at full price, now that the games are cheaper, damn.

I didn't think it did, it sure did hurt them. I remember when Madden was out people were waiting at midnight or so waiting to get it.

So, if you want to buy 2 of Madden 2005, NHL 2005, or NBA Live 2005 and get a 3rd EA Sports game of your choosing for free, your total would come out to $18 per game if using the GGC at Best Buy.
$50 after using GGCs + $4 shipping for free game.
54/3 = $18 per game.

Hey EA, what about Fifa??
It's not really all 2005 sports games, at least not according to that article.

Yeah, no Tiger Woods or Nascar either. I think they did this to be competitive with Sega Sports titles. That's why NCAA Football only dropped to $39.99 (no Sega college football game).

My brother was quite happy when I told him that NBA Live 2005 was only $30 now.

Yeah, it's hardly "All". More like"All that had sales figures affected by the ESPN games".

Another Hoosier CAG!
OT, why not? There's no restrictions (from what I saw) regarding the price of the games you buy in the deal. Just sucks that you have to cut out the UPC from the cover.

No you can... I got Nascar 2005 free. I bought Madden for $33 after GGC when it was on sale a few weeks ago. I did the GameRush trade for Tiger Woods.
