the little metal ones, that look like the big xbox metal carrying cases :).. are 7.99 at TRU, no engrish though.

It seems, unlike the hard cases, that you can drop your GBA SP if they are in this case and they will survive the fall.

Received mine today:

The cases arrived a padded envelope, which was good for me, as it fit in my small NYC mailbox. The cases themselves were packaged like so:

As you can see, the Airform Pocket is a darker blue (although looks a bit purple in the picture) than the "Cobalt" GBA. Its certainly not a close match, but at least the colors don't clash.

The cases are definitely cool. They are soft, yet feel very solid, seemingly able to protect your GBA from a decent fall.
I am too scared to test mine, so I make no promises.
It has a little cargo net thingy that will hold 3 games (or headphone adapter):

All in all, well worth the $8 each. I also received a $5 off $40 coupon off my next play-asia.com (http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-ci2-84-.html) purchase. This is my 3rd purchase from them and haven't had any problems, despite the fact they are in Hong Kong.

Yeah, I got mine yesterday and it looks to be very well made. Did you order some deluxe version or something though? Mine doesn't have a wrist strap or that elastic band inside to hold the GBA down (ordered the black one btw).

No, but I notice the red one does not have the strap either. I can't check the inside as I can't take it out of the package yet as its not for me.

If you had it shipped via the cheapest possible (air mail economy, i think it is) it will take up to 2 weeks or so. I ordered an awesome Hori digital Gamecube controller (which kicks ass btw, especially for mega man zero on the game boy player) and it took a couple weeks to get here. That was my third order as well, and I too have never had problems with them. A great online retailer.
