I think CAG needs an IQ test implemented for all new members

Since the holidays are rapidly approaching my guess is CAG will soon be flooded with new users, so in order to keep things somewhat sane and tolerable, I think it's only fair that all new members be given a simple IQ test. Iif they don't score 120 or higher then they can't post on the message boards. I'm actually serious about this one Cheapy, you should do it. They could still join CAG and give you traffic, but not post on the boards unless they have average intelligence.

Since the holidays are rapidly approaching my guess is CAG will soon be flooded with new users, so in order to keep things somewhat sane and tolerable, I think it's only fair that all new members be given a simple IQ test. Iif they don't score 120 or higher then they can't post on the message boards. I'm actually serious about this one Cheapy, you should do it. They could still join CAG and give you traffic, but not post on the boards unless they have average intelligence.

The test would add another level of elitism to the boards - "I r smart!" - and IQ tests almost never reflect a person's actual intellectual ability. Beyond that, it's discriminatory. You shouldn't hold a person's intelligence or lack thereof against them unless they're in a position that demands it. Our president needs to be intelligent. A message board poster does not.

Bad idea, without a doubt. Banning the dumbasses once they start to bother the userbase is a much better way to handle the problem.

Actually, Super Mario Brothers 3 blew the doors off the industry...even before the days of preorders.... and the Mario stable of characters are still beloved. I hardly believe that Master Chief will sustain that type of following after a decade.

Reinventing oneself to "stay relevant" rarely ever works.
Going by current market trends, Mario would have to start toting guns to "stay relevant". That's against what the entire franchise is about... if they made that move, they'd destroy a cash cow.
