Wrong forum, this is not a "deal".
That being said, outside of Zelda, there's really no reason to own a Gamecube (besides Eternal Darkness). Viewtiful Joe and RE4 have/will be ported, Donkey Konga is bleh, and there's not many good GC exclusive titles.
Well, Super Smash Brothers..
But it's only $99! Go for it. Or is it cheaper than $99 now? Is it $79? Nah.. that's insane. $99.

It comes with 2 controllers, and there are lots of good exclusive titles:
-Tales of Symphonia
-Mario Kart DD
-Mario Golf
-Mario Power Tennis
-Animal Crossing
-Zelda WW
-F-Zero GX
-Metroid Prime
-Mario Party 4/5
-Mario Sunshine
-Monkey Ball
-Donkey Konga (which is pretty awesome, IMO)
Most of these are Player's Choice now too, so you can get them for $15 at Best Buy. So yeah, you should buy it.

Actually, there are a lot of reasons to own a Cube.
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords
Metroid Prime
Tales of Symphonia
Super Mario Sunshine
F-Zero GX
The entire Resident Evil series on one console
Animal Crossing
Paper Mario 2
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
Ikaruga
Luigi's Mansion
P.N. 03
The Game Boy Player
Wario World
And these are just off the top of my head. That's not even counting all the multiplatform releases that look better on Cube than they do on the PS2. Since you have an XBox too, though, that may not be a big deal. As far as Resident Evil 4...if you don't want to wait a whole year to play it, you'll need a Cube. Lots of people are speculating that the PS2 build of the game won't look as good as it will on the Cube as well. There are rumors going around that there's an XBox version in development too, but it will also be a long time before it gets released.

Please, do not give Mario Party as a reason to buy a Gamecube. There is no reason to ever buy a Mario Party game for ANY console.

I read somewhere that Namco was CONSIDERING bringing Tales of Symphonia PS2 over to the US. If Nintendo was smart they would be the first or 2nd system out of the gate on this next generation.

Has anyone actually seen the bundle with two controllers? The only one I've seen at my local EB has just ONE controller with MK:DD included and also a $15 "check" good toward purchase of a new game.
Still a very good deal but I'd prefer the second controller myself.

Agreed totally. I'm just curious as to if MP6 will be better than 4, considering the whole microphone thing and all.

Is target carrying the exclusive 2 controller model? If so then it may be worth getting that from them before Black Friday... I bet those sell out... that's another $20 better than the other bundles.

Hmm I have $50 credit (Broken Xbox trade in) at EB Games, I wonder if they have these?

I remember this, but I remember an article in which NAMCO said it wouldn't be coming out on the PS2 in the US, but it MAY be ported to the PS2 in Japan sometime in 2005.

There are 2 different versions of the Mario Kart bundle. One has 2 controllers and the other has 1 controller and a $15 gift check to be used towards a GameCube game.

Yup. I confirmed it yesterday with the visiting Nintendo Rep. The game specialty stores have the one controller & $15 gift check bundle. All the other places get the one with two controllers.

Hey Board this is my first post, just found this site. I work at walmart in electronics, and I can confirm this Bundle. On the front it has Double Dash and 2 regular controllers. I was not able to get a price for it however, and there was no release date for it either. So all i can do now is confirm it, and post more when i find out.

The official release date for this bundle is Nov 15 so that's probably why not all of you are seeing it yet. Stores are NOT supposed to be selling it yet.
Here are the stores that will carry it and which bundle they will have:
2 Controllers
Target
Wal-Mart
K-Mart
Best Buy
Circuit City
1 Controller + $15 Gift Check
Toys R Us
EB
Gamestop
Game Crazy
Sears

Nooo! I just ordered it from Gamestop.com last night it didn't have a picture or product info so I assumed it has two controllers. But now there is a pic of a black cube and a seperate mario kart game! Maybe I can return it for a refund once it comes in?
