Nyko Remote with Energizer Charge Station

I'm thinking of jumping on the Walmart deal for the 3rd party Wii remote with the game, but had a few questions.

1. Will the Nyko Wand work with the Energizer flat panel induction charger? I was concerned if the battery packs would fit in.

2. What's the general consensus on the quality of the Nyko wand?

I got the Nyko Wand last week.
I played Bit.Trip Beat which uses the motion sensor in a horizontal way.
The paddle motion was jerky and jittery; sticky like it had some dead zone.
I switched back and forth between Nyko and Nintendo just to be sure.
It was really bad. I took it back.
I have no idea about any other quality issues.
