Apparently, this year is the 25th anniversary of Happy Meals. Despite that thread about fatty computer geeks eating McDonald's, I'm sure
everyone here has some fond memories of those little Happy Meal toys.

What was your favorite toy? I liked those Transformers that turned into the fries and milkshake and other random food items. (I'm tempted to say Ninja Turtles but I think that was BK)

The happy meals I remember most are the fraggle rock race cars that were like carrots and squash etc. I definately had all of them back in the day.

The did them twice. One time the food transformed to robots, the other time to dinosaurs.

lol, too true. And you know what's really sad? I gorged myself on tons of Happy Meals just for those darned Beanie Babies. I *SO* freaked out when my sister actually opened one from the plastic wrap <the horror!>. I actually thought I'd become a millionare with them someday!!!! *:rolls her eyes:* Aye, I was foolish then.

I used to have a goomba that did filps, I remember the suction cup that it used to do the filps broke and I was so angry that my goomba couldn't filp anymore. That must have been one of the SMB3 toys.

The SMB3 toys were the best.

I had the flipping goomba, the paratrooper (that would "hop" if you squeezed the little air thing), and the jumping Racoon Mario.

Wasn't there like Luigi on a cloud? Maybe I'm thinking of a different series.

Most likely the hot rods. I love those little cars... had a hot rod collection, gave it away though, *sigh*.
