I got a flyer in the mail showing that the GBA SP will be selling for $59 on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. There is also a deal for a JVC DVD/Vcr combo for $80 on black friday which normally retails for $120. Finally the first 100 shoppers on black friday get a free $20 gift card. The no tax on these makes these an even better deal.

So, do we get the $20 gift card just for showing up or do we have to buy something?

It said first 100 shoppers through the door so I guess it depends on how your BX works it

Heh I will take the butt of some jokes, they only make them because they are jealous of how we have it. Case in point AF deploys for 4 months and the Army goes for a year. Let me tell you a year in Iraq should be illegal. Plus the Army does stuff in crazy messed up ways because they never listen to their people on how to run stuff. Our lodging and chow halls are surperior to the other services because we actually care a bit about how people live. Oh and by the way I actually have the DVD/VCR combo in the ad and it is a steal at that price

There are unflattering nicknames for all of them. Here are a few I've heard:
Marine = Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential
Navy people are Squids, the lowest form of Marine life
FLAP = Fucking Lazy Airforce Personel
Crunchie is an infantryman, because that's the sound they make when a tank drives over them.
Here's kind of a funny site (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_slang) that has some military jargon.

Yeah,............... the USAF is butt of all jokes, eh??
You are out of your mind!
We contribute the most, and get PAID for doing it.
Do you really think the infantry does the most??
We make a call, fly in, and bomb the shit out of stuff. No casulities, except for the enemy.
Quick, clean, and precise.
Then, there's the support.
You don't see the President flying with the ARMY do you??
Plus, we not only send supplies to the infantry, but to the entire military.
Who do you think feeds the grunts??
Oh.......... and by the way,..... we get the best jobs when we get out!
Why????
We are trained right, with skills that can be utilized long after.
Check out where Army guys work after their term. Warehouses, fast food restraunts, WalMart, and the most coveted,.............
Can you say GAS STATION??!!
Lazy,....... as much as the next guy. Depends on what you're doing though.
You should see what acft maintenance goes through, before you pass judgement.
Finally,............... GAS STATION!!!
Think about it.
