Hey guys,
My roommate is selling his entire Xbox collection since he is getting out of gaming. You can view his auction at:

He's a reliable guy, 100% positive feedback. He also has a Halo 2 cardboard cutout of Master Chief that he is selling.

Just to let you all know, I just found out that the XBox is refurbished. It still looks and works just like new, but the auction needs to be 100% accurate.

His Buy It Now price is $400, but I'm guessing that it won't go for quite that much. He has no reserve, so whatever it goes for it goes for; he just wants to sell it.
The Xbox is about $150, plus $20*3 for the controllers, plus around $100 for the games... I'm guessing it'll go for more like around $300.

That's what I told him. He wants out of gaming though, and he figured this is the best way he could do it without changing his mind. Sad days!!!

Did his Xbox cheat on him with another roommate? Is he that pitiful at Halo 2 that he couldn't stand to play it anymore? Or God forbid, does he have gamer performance anxiety and just can't get it up?
I hope he finds the help he needs to come back to his senses.

Yeah, it was pretty much Halo 2 that did it. He spent 12 hours straight one day last week and decided that that was the end of it. It's a shame, really, because we had a lot of fun on Live.
He won't be able to quit gaming cold turkey though... we have 2 NES's, an N64, a dreamcast, and of course our computers... just none with the addiction that was Halo 2.

If the Xbox wasn't refurbished, I wouldn't have been surprised to see it go to $400. Also, what drive is it? Listing that may help.

While I appreciate you telling us that it is refurbished, I would think that he should mention it in his listing, especially since he is selling it as a collectable.
I don't suppose it comes with the original box?

Guessed, thanks for your input! I talked him into adding info to his auction... hopefully that helps. Sadly, it doesn't come with the original box; unless he finds it!
This whole event is so strange... we were so excited about Halo 2; we even had the 5' 4" tall cardboard Master Chief... and suddenly he wants nothing to do with Halo 2, as it is "becoming an addiction." Sadness.
