Really, really sad. Charges against her were just dropped after it was concluded that the woman thought the bill was legal. What's even worse is the cashier at fashion bug (where she used it) thought it was real too, and gave her $100.58 in change.

I guess I am curious what was she charged for? It could not be for counterfeiting. There isn't even a $200 bill.
I do believe the person that passed the bill was trying to scam the store and should be punished.

Wow, I think this is a pretty big low for stupidity, both customer and cashier think a $200 bill with Bush on it and a "We Like Broccoli" sign on the back. They should give a refreshing course to cashiers on what bills are real, and how to tell real from fakes.

It would still be counterfeiting. Producing anything and trying to pass it off as US currency would probably be considered coounterfeiting even though a bill of that denomination doesn't exist.
