I see so many sad church signs. I was in Lynchburg (home of Jerry Falwell) and saw a sign that said "Evolution is the real science fiction"

I was appalled.

I saw a church sign that confused me the other day. It said, "Marriage: one body, one spirit, one soul." I'll grant them the one spirit/ one soul, since ostensably that is what marriage should be in the most romantic of lights. However, one body? Do they physically graft people together at marriage?

I always get a kick out of reading those...all churches must use the same book or something. The only one I remember offhand was "God Accepts Knee-Mail" which had me laughing for a good long time...until it was still there two weeks later, at which point it became less amusing and more annoying.

Are you located near Summit, NJ? There's a sign out front of a church nearby that says exactly that - I see it all the time...

I should give the picture of my sign to that site, during the middle of the night i changed it from "bless our troops" to "bless our poos" i thought it was ridiculusly childishly funny

How's about: "You give us your time, faith, trust, and money your entire life, and we'll provide valuable escapism during your periods of emotional trauma and promise you everlasting joy which will start right after you die." Hmm. I think that might be a little too long to fit on a fridge magnet.

"And with his blasphemous words, did the impious author secure his own everlasting torment": :hot:
