Live till 100 and play 35 years worth of newer games that I'd miss out on by dying at 65.

I'd prefer life. I would hope that it would also be a healthy life, it'd be nice to have a guarantee on that, since the living part would be guaranteed.

If anyone chooses die at 65, they are morons

Have you ever had a conversation with anyone over 75? Most of them are ... um ... losing it... I never said it would be a happy life until 100. 20 years of medication and doctor's visits and going to the funerals of everyone you know and love doesn't sound so hot. That said, I'd still choose life but there are some CAG nuts out there I'm sure...

If living to 100 meant not playing any games whatsoever then I'd definitely have to go with the free games till 65. But, if it was a matter of having to buy my own games still I'd have to go with live to till 100, that way I would have 35 extra years of playing newly released games.

I wonder if they let you play Grand Theft Auto in heaven?

I'm gonna be the first to be (flamed probably) and say 65 and free games. There's no fucking way in hell I will EVER live to 100 anyways, so why not get all the free stuff that I can get... besides, my hands would be too gnarled with arthritis, carpal tunnel, and parkinson's disease at 90 to play games anyways.

I wouldn't want to live past my 70's. I've seen how many 80-90 years in convalescent homes and it ain't pretty. Humans aren't meant to live that long. If we were meant to live 100 years then our bodies wouldn't start messing up at 45-50.

Go to College, and get a great paying job with lot's of free time to play videogames.

Um...what was the question?

whoknows

I say 65...because I'm not planning to live longer than that or even that long

Well, the question assumes that one would live to be 100 if one did not accept the offer of the free games.

Do you really think people will still use their hands to play video games when you are 90?

Actually if you continually do the same action you will most likely keep the action up. I know I have seen cases of 80year olds playin pinball because they constantly play that shit, so their motor synapses never got weaker

Yeah, but i've got wrist problems right now at the moment, and have a mild case of cts. By the time i'm 60, if i even live that long, my wrists will be seriously messed up. And I play piano too so it sucks.

A big part of how you age is your diet, exercise, and going to the doctor so they can catch problems early. My great grandmother was driving until she was 90, but when she fell and broke her hip she quickly went downhill (died at 94). My great aunt is 83 and still goes to atlantic city every month or so, plays bingo every week, walks up and down a huge flight of stairs to get to her apartment, drives, visits family, and until she sold her beach cottage 2 years ago (not due to physical problems, just not enough company showed up anymore) she would walk down to the center, and along the beach (about a 2-4 mile walk in total). She isn't married either so she does it all herself. Basically, being a lazy fatass now means spending your old age staring out a window in a nursing home. That being said, I don't care about the games, but if I just get a happy, faithful and fulfilling marriage I'd much rather die at 65 than live to 100 without those things. At least I'd spend 65 years happy.

65 and free games! There's not much to life after 65. Plus my grandkids could like.. trade them in and make millions, thus making everyone in my wake rich, so suck on that! Woo!

If my mind starts to go after 65 I would rather live to be 65 and not loose my mind. However, It would be cool to live to 100, as long as my mind doesn't go.
I think the real question is who wants to live forever?
I wouldn't want to live forever, unless I got to choose when I would die. While it would be cool to see everything that happens in the future, everybody you ever knew would die.

Wow you guys can sure be strange. I would live to 100 for the sake of my family. Sure you will see people you love die but would you rather that your significant other have to see you go at 65 and live to 100 alone? Videogames are cool and all but they are materialistic. Doesnt mean you cant enjoy them when your older. As a matter of fact one of my favorite times ever working at BB was when this old guy came in with his wife looking at xbox games. He wanted to know what to get his son(or grandson i forget) and he told me what kind of games that his son liked. While i was explaining this he was like...ok ill tell you the truth these games are for me! It was so funny and cool at the same time. Plenty of older people arent unhappy with their lives as you may think. Most people are happy with their life spans across all ages. Think about how you would want to be a teen when your middle aged then how you would want to be middle aged when 65...Then think about how you wanted to be 10 again when you were a teen. The past always seems better but you shouldnt forsake your future in the present because when that future is the present, i bet at least half of you would think twice about what your saying.
If you have a grandchild you will want to see them grow as much as you can and hope that they are happy and have their own children by the time you go. That way you know your life is complete and you will live on through them

I've heard that life above 65 is overated but I don't think I'll be interested in video games in a decade or so, so I guess I'll take the extra 35 years of being an old perv.

no thats the best part about the future, you can get cybernetic enhancements and stuff, robot eyes, fake arms, artificial hearts, nano-technology cleaning out your clogged arteries. Oh yes, I'll live to be at least 150

Live to 100, I don't have the time to play the games that I have right now.

Now, if you give me 40 billion $ right now, then I'll select 65 years old.

Id probably spend the time up til 65 doing everything possible to do outside, and spend the remainder of it, (if I do live up to 100) when I can barely walk, catching up on all the games I had missed. And hey by that time, Id only have to wait a few more years for the new Duke Nukem

Yep.

Oh yeah and also, what makes you think there'll be robots and shit in the future? Remember 2001: A space odyssey? And looked what happened when 2001 came around, there weren't flying spaceships or anything anywhere. I have a feeling there won't be half the things they predicted in 2001 100 years from now, maybe virtual reality games in homes (yay!) but besides that... not mechanical hearts to make you live forever, or whatever. You will die. I will die.

Live till 100...or whenever I die.
A mix of good quality games that I payed for and a decent social life is just perfect for me.

I've always said I don't want to live past 70. I hate old people, so I'd end up hating myself I guess? I'll take all the free video games and die before I'm old and all messed up. I'm taking my wife down with me so she won't be lonely

come on now. what would you do after 65 anyway? even if you were healthy... have you ever seen a healthy 70 year old? they still look nasty. i would never have sex with a healthy 70 year old woman. i think your ability to have sex, and the moment you lose that ability, will mark the end of your meaningful life. after that, it's split pea soup and depends.
