Yuck ... Krystal's is gross where I live at. The guy who was making the food for us was picking his nose, so I ended up turning around and getting the hell out of there.

More impressive is his record on eating cow brains. Personally, I'm full after just one cow brain.

"But the television began to shy away from such contests after a 14-year-old junior high school student choked to death in 2002 trying to imitate competitive eating during school lunch.

Despite repeated warnings from authorities about the danger, such contests remain popular at local festivals in Japan.

On November 6, a 38-year-old woman choked to death after gorging on bread and barley noodles at a local fall festival."

Fucking idiots.

They need population control in Japan, if people are choking on food they need to push for even more of these contests.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kobayashi clogged the toilet everyday.

How the hell can those Japanese people win so many of these damn eating contests? Do they starve themselves for a couple of days, weeks?

Did anyone ever see Man vs. Beast on Fox? They had an eating contest between a bear and the world champion (small Japanese guy). At first the guy was kicking ass, because the bear didn't know what was going on. Then the bear sniffed the hotdogs and ate about 15 pounds at once.

Kobayashi is really the man when it comes to competitive eating. I mean 69 hamburgers may actually be more food that 53 hot dogs. His patented "Kobayashi twist" is what sets him apart.

I wonder if he can eat 50 eggs Cool Hand Luke style.

Such a high metabolism and a lack of fat to allow maximum stomach expansion are definitely key. And the worse thing you can do is starve yourself before one of these competitions, cause the stomach to constrict and allow less food than if you ate a normal meal earlier
