Dear America,
We here at Hardees hate your heart, so please enjoy our new sandwich: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6498304/

My tastebuds, stomach and wallet all agreed to have a mutual hate for Hardee's, so this works out for me in the end.
There's no way I'd step near that.
Nothing beats this, though.

Holy Shit! That thing's huge, expensive, and definitely not good for you. $5.50 by itself is way too much when Double Cheeseburgers are $1 at McD's.

They should have mini pizzas instead of buns and then it will be the perfect burger.

But does it taste good, that is all that really matters? Besides fast food is not meant to be eaten all the time, it's just something you pick up once in awhile.

The Hardees out east tastes really good, but we only have Carls Jr. out here, which is like a cheap rip off.
I remember eating the rib sandwich and it was Godly.

And Hardees is owned by Carl Jr's

FYI Hardees is the same as Carls Jr.

They've been talking about it on the radio news all day, and besides the fact that im really hungary, there are almost no MI hardees...and there used to be one here in Novi, but thats now a Wendys (how does there food get so cold so fast?)

Oh yeah..I also dont see what the big deal is about that burger, there's always been a 2/3 lb double bacon thickburger...I guess because this one has 4 pieces of bacon instead of 2.

Dammit I want one......
But they should market it as the "Once in a Lifetime Burger".
Their slogan could be:
"Eat more than one and you'll DIE!"

There isn't any Hardee's in my area, but there is a Carl's Jr. close to my house. I don't think Carl's Jr. sells a burger like that, though.

Hardees has been going under for awhile now. It's about time they try and do something different. They might as well buck the system.

Hmm... I wonder how many calories you'll knock off by leaving off the mayo. I hate mayo. Must be around a thousand, right?

IF you go to ruby tuesday, they have a one pound burger with bacon, lettuce, chedder, pickle, tomato, BBQ sauce and three buns (kind of like a big mac style). HMMMMMMMM.

Maybe they are trying to kill off all the fat people who will rush to eat it and get a heartattack. This could turn out to be a clever trap.

Does anyone remember a place called Big Ed's?
They had them here in OKC. They would make a burger that was about 12 inches across. A truly amazing feat.

No doubt....I knew someone who would go on diet after diet....they got pissed when I questioned the reasoning about eatting a sandwich with chips AND drinking a slim fast....
later go to the corner gas station, get 2 doughnuts and a diet Coke.

I doubt you'd even find scraps of Angus beef in McD's Double Cheeseburgers.
This is definitely good news for blue collar folks who need a big lunch to carry them through the rest of the day.

Just like everyone else, only they don't see the humor in it.
I wonder what the calorie count is for one of those burgers, large fries, and a large non-diet soda. It's gotta be well over 2000.

Yeah, really. If there's a Hardee's in Buffalo, I'm wondering how many of them he's powered down (in record time, of course) by now.
Anyways, Carl's Jr > Hardee's, imo.
The reason why Carl's Jr is mostly in the west is because the company that owns Carl's Jr purchased Hardee's with the intent of using Carl Jr's burger menu and Hardee's breakfast menu. I guess they figured they'd save money taking over an existing fast food chain's stores than building their own. It didn't go too well. There's more on that here (http://www.99w.com/evilsam/ff/hardees.htm) if anybody's curious.

Assuming a 32oz Coke, it comes out to 2446 calories for the combo.

"This is a burger for young hungry guys who want a really big, delicious, juicy, decadent burger," he said. "I hope our competitors keep promoting those healthy products, and we will keep promoting our big, juicy delicious burgers."
VS
"Probably no nutritionist ever imagined that a product like this would be marketed." "If Hardee's persists in marketing this junk, it should at least list calories right up on the menu board," Jacobson said.
GOLD.
And this is similiar to the Carl Jr Six-Dollar Burger. What's funny about the $6 burger is there is a chili-cheese one, and also a LOW CARB ONE. Imagine that hardee's burder with lettuce wrapped around it instead of a bun. It is fucking hysterical just to go to the place and watch people try and eat those without it being a trainwreck.
