sounds like something a canadian would do... i'd laugh if they did and then some country like Japan attacked them and we didnt help.... for some reason i really want to see canada in a war by themselves against another country, and see them lose.

I'll run through toronto naked waving a canadian flag and screaming if canada does this. Please Canada, please arrest bush.

In America, we pay our own way. Nice to know that communisim is failing in Canada too.

Uh, what communism are you talking about? I'd also like to know how it could be failing, since I didn't know it existed here. Also, you wanted to buy me something, so I offered you an alternative. Besides, I'm an american anyway, and while america's government is weaker and less effective on the social front, you don't pay for everything yourself either. Though I have to wonder if you're even serious, your comments seem designed to get a reaction, or, as is the case here, they don't make sense.

Interesting speech about our past and future friendship. I sincerely hope we can patch up our differences...

There will always be differences. No need to patch them up, just respect that the other has a sincerely held opinion and talk about it instead of getting upset. Act like adults, although some politicians seem not to know how.

In any case, clearly Americans and Canadians have much more in common than they do in conflict. Most of our deeply held beliefs are very similar if not the same, which should surprise no one.
