For games most people use ign to list their games.
For dvds most people use dvd aficionado to list their movies.
What do people use for their cds?

i have always wondered what the purpose of listing your collection on the internet is. besides to show off your collection, what is the point?

I have over 800 cds (all store bought)- It would take me forever to list them on the internet.
No thanks. I dont have the time.

is a good site, it started off being just for Djs but then it expaned to Hip-hop and now it has expaneded to everything.
My sig of course has my collection, it's only like 50% updated. I still have a ton of cds I need to add to it.

I could definitley see this site growing, but it seems a bit lacking right now (IMO). I'll see how it evolves, and maybe later I'll transfer my collection over there.

Yeah I'm not typing in my 1,000+ cd collection. I don't have them to show off, I enjoy music...a lot.

sometimes i contemplate using the guzzlefish site to keep track of my cd and dvd collections, incase my house burns down or something, but then i'll begin to enter them, and about five minutes later i get bored and quit.
you can trade on the guzzlefish site, so that could be a valid reason to use it.
and let's not forget about the indie cred you may be able to obtain. "i love fugazi!"

Right now it does seem to be missing a lot of stuff. Do the users add the info about all the cds?

Yeah, it seems to be all user built.
