Hell yeah, I went to see it yesterday, and it was awesome. That part with the chainsaw was CRAZY gory. The humor in it actually made me laugh too. The part at the begining when the guy gets hit by the ambulance was pure genius.

this movie is awesome, it had a little bit of everything, horror, romance (sorta..), and comedy. it was funnier than i thought any scary movie could ever be.

Very awesome movie. One of the better horror movies of our time. I was expecting something decent with a few cheap scares and laughs, but what I got was a brilliantly made horror movie, and one of the best remakes of a horror movie of all time, if not, THE best.

I went in expecting not too much, but the result left me stunned. I wasn't expecting the movie to be as great as it was.
I liked the original movie a lot, and this remake I felt did it justice. If Romero made the original Dawn in today's time instead of the 70's I think it would've looked a lot like the remake. Awesome movie. I'm going to see it again.

a great remake movie that excelled in every way. I loved the way they developed that c.j character, making a transition from a mean bastard to a hero and the comedy was great! it relieved the suspense and tension

saw it Friday, it was cool as hell. never saw the original, but this one was great. it's kind of like 28 Days Later, just much more action, less plot, and funny.
hilarious when the security guard thought the sheriff was cool when he called the zombie a "twitcher."

I loved it! Lot better then the orginal! I was thinking oh man this is gooing to suck. Same story but new graphics but no it was really good. Made me not be able to sleep last night ( that and the near torando and lightning we had last night) Good movie. Some cheesy parts ( for example who knew consturction of the saviors? Why didn't they make a bridge? To the you know what on the you know what when he was on the you know what Instead of useing the you know mut! There did it it with out messing it up for everybody else!) Anyways I would recommend seeing it. It was funny There was a line for Passion and then another line for Dawn of the dead right next to each other. Go figure! Anyways the same people who came out crying at passion are in line for Dawn of thew dead! Kinda funny to me!

I thought it was good but not great like the original was . It just was just very predictable and they barely used the ripe setting of the mall. The characters visit and use maybe three or four stores only that's just lame. Also what's the deal with the dog Chip I don't understand why the Zombies don't try to eat him ? If you want to see a good Zombie horror flick watch 28 Days Later it's a much better movie.

It was good. but it had some pretty boring parts during the mall sequences. There wasnt enough backstory either about the origins of the zombie. Partake in the "Zombie's Bite" anyway.

Yeah, I would like to see more about the zombie backstory. But the part at the begining when hes chasing the car, I nearly shit myself. Its sooo funny at times, and then minutes later, scary as shit. An excellent movie, even if it was much, much different than the original.

I actually appreciated how the origin of the zombies was NOT explained. It was left at "When there is no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth." Perfect. Made me think about "if this really happened, what would I do? Would I react in the same way?"
Great movie, not quite as much social commentary as the original (it was there, more subtle).
Also the Johnny Cash opening credits was awesome.

It would have done an injustice to Romero if they cited anything other than "causes unknown" causing the dead to rise.
I always just assumed it was a higher power telling people "Sorry, you lose"
