1 positive feedback keeps me from buying this.

EDIT: Also the one feedback is from a private auction and the user who gave it to him joined Oct. 31, 2004. The users are too new for me to believe this.

Yes with free shipping? From a seller with 1 feedback, well I'm to suspicious to bite.

Check his other auctions: Metroid Prime 2, Half Life 2, Halo 2, GTA:SA... all $17. I wouldn't trust it.

Ha. This is a bit blatant for me.

I am a bit hungry, however.

Who knows he could have robbed a gamestop or something.

His feedback is 5 now. He is being relatively clever about it (I've seen worse). The feedback he is getting are from his penny auctions for his "private recipe" - 1 cent, free shipping, ending today, but since his auctions are private, the feedback doesn't link back to the auction, so there is no way to prove this allegation, and people who just skim through will see a lot of positive feedback. The bidders in those recipe auctions are no doubt shills or his own accounts that he set up for the scam, not a bad return on a few pennies.

Edit: 6 feedback now. I just sent an email to alert eBay to the situation.

Posts like this should really end with "/sarcasm".

You'd think for a con like that he'd want more for the game, you know bump the feedback up to 20 then sell it as buy it now for $30 not 15 with free shipping.

im curious to know if this is legit or not. scoring MGS3 for 17 bucks would be killer

I bet this is one of those auctions where you get information on how to get free video games . . . he will send you an email on how to use ww.freevideogames.com

this is fake because how can he get 10 feedbacks on one day? plus, it just does not seem realistic. he is even selling GTA SA, halo 2 half life 2 and metroid prime 2 for the same price.

This is obviously a scam. But there is that one part of my brain that is thinking it could be legit. Not worth the risk. If it is legit, he'll probably keep selling these in the future. Maybe I'll watch his feedback to see if he actually ships these items. They could be stolen merchandise. Personally, I wouldn't feel bad about buying stolen merchandise if I can get new games on the cheap. Even though I haven't technically done anything wrong though, I'd still be supporting the thief.

EDIT: oh wait, it says he's not registered. I guess he got some people to actually buy the "games"
