Hey mint and chocolate gets alot of play, especially around the holidays. I also don't get how communism is under appreciated as it never really works like it is supposed to, but to each his own.

The subject of History is the most underappreciate thing. If politicians knew their History, they wouldn't be making the same mistakes over and over again.

I would have to second the vote for history. The world would be a MUCH better place if people would occasionally stop and do some research to see what's worked and not worked before. Instead, the human race just makes the same mistakes again and again and again and again...
The greatest strength of the human race is its ability to learn from the mistakes of others. The greatest flaw of the human race is its refusal to do so.

This is the best ice cream ever. I love how every company has a different name for it. My #1 brand is Hagan's Penguins Slap Shot Sundae. It's just one of the million different names for fudge and peanut butter cups in vanilla ice cream.

Walking up the stairs...
... years ago one of our neighbors came over to talk to one of my parents about something or another, he was older, probably in his mid 70s at the time, and when he got to our door and up the porch steps he was visibly winded. I'll never forget how he said "later in life you realize all the little things you used to take for granted" Sure I don't think that walking up the steps is a miracle, but there's many simple things such as walked that are under-appreciate until we're robbed of them.

I used to hate Disco but nowadays I dont mind it so much anymore. In fact, Disco sounds downright good compared to the dance music they have now adays. I still prefer rock-n-roll
BTW, I dont think Ben-N-Jerry's is underappreciated. Its good...but not underappreciated.

You don't know how much you take it for granted until it is gone.
Without it, none of us would be on this board.
Try going a day without it. Hell, try going an hour without using any electricity. Pretty tough to do.

No, I dont. But we were without power for about a week after hurricaine Ivan came through. It was hot and I found it difficult to sleep and very boring. I did have plenty of batteries for my gameboy though so it helped pass the time.
Perhaps if I lived somewhere that the power went out often, it might not have been such a hardship.

Meh it's a function of the human condition.
