View Full Version : Wii DVD not going in

Idk if this is a good place for this but my wii is having issues. My friend the other day (hes not too smart) shoved too wii games into my wii. I managed to extract both of them but now I cant put games in it anymore and it makes weird clicking and whirring noises. Its out of warranty and i plan on opening it up so any advice would help , thanks.

Call Nintendo, despite it being out of warranty, they may show kindness or their rate may be cheap enough that you consider paying them a better idea than going in yourself.

I'm not sure if fixing the drive is a possibility, but you could replace it.
They sell Wii drives here, plus there's a guide on how to fix it.

That said, I too would recommend calling in to Nintendo. Might even be cheaper and you wouldn't have to deal with the headache of the repair. You can check online for their prices. Try talking to a CS representative: he or she might be able to help you more.
