I don't think offering it to CAGer's at a "discount" rate of $220 would make many friends if it were a new member or a relative unknown (such as myself) making the offer.

I agree wholeheartedly with those who think this is very uncouth behavior by someone who considers themselves a CAG.

In addition, when the title of this forum states nothing about the price requested, and also is begun by a moderator, the typical CAG is unlikely to think that they are clicking on a link to a highly inflated price on the DS. Thus, because we clicked here unknowingly, I do not think we are "sticking our noses where they do not belong." We were behaving like typical CAGers, and many found ourselves upset that a moderator would offer such a rediculous price to other CAGs.

eBay buyers get whats coming to them; CAGs expect more. Don't jack up the price of a console so that you make 33% profit after shipping, and act like you are Mother Teresa because you stood in a line.

While i don't agree with him getting a bunch he is not being dishonest. wow, well i read back, and the only comment i had to say is that stealthyseal definately had made lots of trade threads at one point. whether thats a good thing or bad, thats for others to decide (moderators).
in other news, the price i see on this does seem offensive especially when its posted by a moderator of this forum, which means that stealthy has taken time to build his rank to that. It does diminish the value of the rank if you are attempting to profit off the same people on this message board, however if someone does get it on ebay thats not from here, well that person might just be in a rush to get one and rich.

I for one have no problem with his auction. Yes it's a little overpriced for CAGs, but it's his auction and he may do as he pleases with it.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with Stealthy's auction. Sure, the BIN is on the high side, but he put the starting bid at exactly the MSRP. If some fucktard decides to come along and buy it for that price, it's surely not Stealthy's fault.

Keep in mind that Stealthy's still a young kid and young kids can be a bit brash at times. We were all there at some point. Cut him some slack and call it a day, fellas.
