He's suing the hospital for pain and suffering and loss of income.
He says he had to take extra time off work and can't have sex with his wife. The hospital says it was an unfortunate accident.
I've seen his wife, he should pay them extra. :lol:

I feel worse for the doctor. First, having to smell the fart couldn't have been too pretty, and then to have to go in and put some guy's genitals and penis out, wow, that just sucks.

From the patient's perspective, I guess I can understand his willingness to sue. He goes under general anesthesia and wakes up with burns on his privates, which his doctor tells him occurred accidentally during the procedure. But then again, aren't you required to abstain from eating & drinking for several hours prior to going under general anesthesia? What the heck did he pass gas from?
And regardless of what caused it, I don't see how the doctor could have foreseen it or avoided it (the need to sterilize the area of the genitalia was obviously undertaken out of necessity and not a casual gesture.) Verdict if I were to rule on the case: the hospital treats him for his burns without charge but they don't have to pay additional damages. A review of the procedure should be undertaken to investigate possible modifications to avoid similar incidents in the future.
