This is an awesome game for that price. I highly suggest anyone that's even remotely interested in fighting games to pick this up. Certainly one of the best, if not THE best fighting game I've played. The World Tour mode is awesome, and it's a great challenge.

I've never played this version of the game...only the GBA port, which I love even though I'm terrible when I play.

it's awesome. there's even a mode where you and a friend can play co-op against the game's "boss" characters.

try this: pick e honda or gen for both characters, then hundred hand slap on each side. 100+ hit combo!

For the ones thinking if this is arcade perfect, this is not. Some things are different than the ones in the arcade, but still a good port.

far from arcade perfect, ESPECIALLY if you use guy (like i do) but still worth owning for 8 bucks plus shipping.

if you want closer to arcade perfect, get the dc version. but i gotta agree that third strike is the best sf ever.

I dunno; many would argue DC SFA3 is further from the arcade version, which I agree since Zero 3 Upper made lots of changes, most odd of which is smaller sprites. It certainly looks better than the PS version but it's not SFA3 and NOBODY plays SFZ3U on a competitive level (for some reason or another). The Saturn version of SFA3 is probably the most arcade-perfect although that's not saying much either considering it also modifies quite a few move properties and bugs. I won't even mention the GBA version of SFA3... Still, the PS version is a superb conversion, though not quite on the level of the later Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

And yeah, I prefer 3S as well. But I'm more a Super Turbo fan...

Best capcom fighter ever behind super turbo. Third Strike was damn good, but the Alpha 3 had every characted you could want.
